|General/All-round Rules|
First syllable is J.

• No powerplaying. This is a biggie especially when it comes to fighting. Powerplaying is when you begin to RP the other character instead of your own. Example: Bronco aimed right for his enemy's barrel and crushed him to the ground, almost killing him. This is not allowed.
  
• No Godmoding. This is when you make your character have powers over everything else. Example: Bronco fled and leaped over the tree. Wings were showing as he took off to the sky. This is not allowed.
  
• No Cussing. It is done minimumly in character and none whatsoever out of character. Let's keep this RPG at a PG level.
  
• Do not join Windcliff if you are below the age of 13 in real life. This is 'Proboards' terms of service. Some stuff may not be suitable for kids under 13.
  
• No disturbing images. This includes dead animals, mating/breeding, and birthing. I know it's real life, but please don't bring real life into Windcliff.
  
• Be as realistic as you can. No phoney and stupid stuff. Mountain sheep can't live in freezing temperatures, they can't beat a bear without being wounded. Stuff like that.
  
• If you have no muse at all, then don't post and wait until you do have muse. If this means going on haitus then so be it. People only enjoy RPing and replying to good-looking posts instead of short, choppy ones.
  
• Respect all members, including staff and newly joined members. This should be done everywhere. I am strict on this.
  
• Act mature. Don't go picking fights with other people. It's pretty annoying and kills sites.
  
• No sex talk out of character. No racism either. This is rude.
  
• No humans are allowed whatsoever. This may change if the site is quite packed.
  
• Please do not make more than 5 characters per account. There are a lot of members that create 10 or 12 characters but only RP about 3 because they have no muse for the other ones.
  
• Do NOT create more than one account. This is frustrating.
  
• No spamming.
  
• If you will be going away for a bit, please post in the 'away' board. There is a risk that your account is deleted on accident if you don't post.
  
• No plagarism. This is copying other people's work and calling it your own.

|Alliances|
Second syllable is u.

• There are three alliances... light, neutral, and dark.
  
• The light alliance is the kindess alliance of all. These creatures are usually peaceful towards one another and don't try to cause havoc.
  
• The dark alliance is the rudess and meaness alliance of all. These animals are cruel and harsh to one another. They have no respect towards anyone else but theirselves.
  
• The neutral alliance is in between the light and dark. Some are leaning towards the lights while others lean towards the dark. Some just stay right in the middle and don't even care.
  
• There are 3 different lands. The North Side (light lands), the West Side (neutral lands), and the South Side (dark lands). Alliances can travel anywhere they please.
  
• Darks can have the pleasure of forcing lights to do things. But remember to not powerplay.

|Joining|
Third syllable is l.

• Please just have one thread per member. Store all your character's stats in that one thread. This keeps the site organized and looking good.
  
• Fill out the whole form.
  
• No, staff members will not accept any characters. But they will look at the stats and make sure it is ok. If it's not, then staff will PM you letting you know.
  
• You may join as a pregnant female.
  
• You may join as a calf.
  
• Do not create a senior sheep.

|Claiming|
Fourth syllable is y.

• Only males can claim a land. The land must also be of their correct alliance. Example: A dark ram can't claim a light territory.
  
• Males at age 2 can breed and claim.
  
• Males can claim a female anywhere in Windcliff.
  
• Force-claiming is ONLY allowed if BOTH members agree to do so.
  
• Females may not claim anything. Neither can calves.

|Breeding|
Fifth syllable is 2.

• Graphic breeding is not allowed. This will not be changed. 'Proboards Terms of Service' says to not do it, and so it won't be done.
  
• Force-breeding is ONLY allowed when BOTH members agree to do so.
  
• Breeding is only done in the provided board. Breeding is not allowed in any territories or social areas.
  
• Breeding is only done in the seasons of Spring and Summer.

|Calving|
Sixth syllable is 0.

• No graphic calving.
  
• It is optional if you want to Role-Play the birthing or just list the stats of the mother and father. A staff member will create calf staffs.
  
• After breeding, you must wait a full week in RL to posts the stats.
  
• Can be done anywhere.

|Fighting|
Eighth syllable is 0.

• Males vs. males is allowed.
  
• Males vs. females is allowed.
  
• Females vs. females is allowed.
  
• Calves cannot fight unless it's with another calf.
  
• No powerplaying.
  
• Each member/character can only post 3 times.
  
• Each member can have 1 block and at least 2 hits.
  
• A staff member will decide the winner.
  
• Must be done in the provided area.

|Calves|
Ninth syllable is 7.

• There is no place for orphaned calves to stay. They must wander around.
  
• You are no longer a calf at the age of 1.
